ILIRIKA d. d. was established on 28 October 1993 as a company for financial consulting and other services and in accordance with the planned business activities.

The company changed its company into ILIRIKA borzno posredniška hiša d. d. (23 February 1994) and limited its activities exclusively to the field of securities. At the end of 1994, ILIRIKA obtained a temporary and on 25 February 1995 also a regular permission for the implementation of trades with securities and it has also begun to operate as a brokerage house.

First half of 2005

In April 2005, ILIRIKA d. d. also became the member of Deutsche Boerse AG. By gaining this membership, ILIRIKA d. d. is able to provide the best possible quality of services on foreign markets.

We have also expanded our services to the markets of the former Yugoslavia, which are currently undergoing privatisation processes and are trying to offer a complete range of services according to equal standards of services.

In December 1999, we established ILIRIKA Vrijednosni papiri d.o.o.  in Croatia, which is a member of Zagreb and Varaždin stock exchanges.

In order to provide a more complete range of services, we also established an equity mutual fund, ILIRIKA JIE. Its policy bases on regional diversification of investments – on the markets of countries of former Yugoslavia (Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia) including other European developing markets. Our aim is to become and remain one of the most successful Croatian mutual funds.

By establishing ILIRIKA Investments a.d. and gaining the permission to execute trades in connection to securities, we became the member of the Belgrade Stock Exchange in 2002. At the same time we have obtained the possibility to implement services in connection to the privatisation of the Serbian companies.

A wide media network (cooperation with newspapers, 18 radio stations and Beta press agency) and a network of branch offices ensure us the place and the possibility to cooperate in the privatisation process.

Together with Prevent d. d. and Establish d.o.o. companies we established investment company DZU Blago d.o.o., which is registered for investment funds’ management. We also opened a representative office in Sarajevo in February 2003, which is a superb base of information and consulting activities for clients that would like to enter the Bosnian market.

In 2005, we established ILIRIKA INVESTMENTS A.D. Skopje. Currently, we are the only financial mediator in Macedonia. The registration process was concluded on August 16, when the company became the member of the Macedonian Stock Exchange.

ILIRIKA is establishing various distribution channels for providing information to various clients that would like to enter the Macedonian market. By forming an aggressive marketing strategy and cooperation with the media (newspapers, radio stations, internet), ILIRIKA INVESTMENTS A.D. is trying to promote itself as an organisation with experts, analytical experience and strategies. The best competitive advantage is personal contact with clients and achieving positive financial results.

In 1999, ILIRIKA borzno posredniška hiša d. d. established and registered Fundacija ILIRIKA foundation. The foundation aims to provide funds for education of children, who were abandoned at birth or after birth and were born in the maternity hospital in Ljubljana.
