The investment goal if Ilirika Azija equity mutual fund is to achieve long-term above average increase of assets at high dispersion level and acceptable risk level. The fund invests in securities of companies, which are located in Asia. According to expectations higher risks enable the realisation of higher returns.
Investment objectives
The fund invests in companies that are located in the Asian geographical area.
Investments in equity securities present between 75 and 100% of total assets, investments in deposits present between 0 and 25% of total assets.
The fund’s portfolio is diversified, and it includes investments with variable and permanent return, its objective is to ensure long-term increase of assets’ value, which will originate from capital gains and income profits from dividends and interests. The portion of investments depends on the situation on capital markets; however, the proportion remains within the limitations, listed below.

Asian economic space has strongly evolved in the past few years. Asian countries started by exporting low-price products, textiles, toys and progressed to manufacturing products with higher added value and technologically more demanding products – digital cameras, computers and similar. This extraordinary progress was noticed in major industrial branches, namely in machine building, ship-building, processing and automobile industry.
An enormous internal market is a significant reason for the progress of economy – large population in these countries presents great potential for growth. Therefore, Asian economy does not so much depend on the export to the western markets. The basic demographic and economic ratios are very interesting in comparison to the developed world:
- The demographic structure has a high portion of young population.
- High saving ratio, cheap workforce.
- High productivity and inclusion in world trading network.
