Modri Sklad Skladov fund of funds allocates assets to other investment funds like: ETF (open-end investment funds, which are traded on the stock exchange), mutual funds and investment companies.

Investments are not limited according to regions; therefore they are made in investment funds in Slovenia as well as in foreign markets. The major part of the fund’s assets (90%) is invested in foreign funds or the so-called ETFs, which operate according to indices on developed as well as undeveloped markets. These are mostly equity investment funds (80%), which invest in markets such as: Europe (west, east), Russia, India, China, Brazil, Japan, South Korea, another portion of the funds is invested in foreign funds that allocate their assets according to economic branches like: energy, materials, biotechnology and community supply.

Structure of investments

Modri Sklad Skladov fund of funds invests in the following securities:

(1) Units or shares of other (target) investments funds, which operate in accordance with the Directive on investment funds, determined under Item 19 of Paragraph 1 of Article 3 of ZISDU-1.

(2) Units or shares of other (target) investments funds, which do not operate in harmonisation with the Directive on investment funds, determined under Item 19 of Paragraph 1 of Article 3 of ZISDU-1.

(3) Investment companies (closed-end fund), determined under Item 23 of Paragraph 1 of Article 3 of ZISDU-1, as well as investment companies (closed-end fund), located outside the Republic of Slovenia.
